Double Decker Giant Umbrella

A throwback to the ‘60s and ‘70s, the Double Decker® umbrella pays homage to the mid-century modern movement.
Made famous by the photography of Slim Aarons, this two-tiered showstopper became a fashionable addition to many iconic California landscapes.
From playful to sophisticated, Double Decker umbrellas, available in square and hexagonal shapes, offer endless customisation options.
By pairing popular mid-century colours like sun-kissed oranges, yellows, and vivid turquoises with bold valance choices such as keyhole, marquis or scalloped with fringe, Santa Barbara Designs has created a retro look that is as relevant today as it was mid-century.

Double Decker Giant Umbrella Dimensions

Pole Diameter : 50.8mm

Ground Clearance : 2133.6mm

Fabric : Fabricated from 100% solution-dyed awning fabric. Select from the 54 solid colours of our very own Regatta® brand awning fabric, or from our 10 popular Regatta block stripes. For custom colour requests, we work with mills in the US and Europe. If it exists, we will find it!

Composition : 8 powder coat finishes available for the metal frame

Features

Double Deck Structure : The playful umbrella frame is cleverly fabricated into two levels, constructed of sturdy aluminium, safeguarded from corrosion with a special Chem Film^® conversion coating. Select from eight powder coat colours.

All Metal, Never Plastic : The Double Decker utilizes stainless steel fittings paired to the aluminium frame to ensure stability and durability.

Your Choice of Valance : The Double Decker comes with a standard straight edge valance – or you can customize with one of our other valance treatments.

Stitched to Last : Our sewing workroom uses Gore® Tenara® to stitch our canopies. This specialty thread resists UV sunlight, chemicals & salt water, and is the ideal choice for outdoor applications.
