Products Fabricated From Metal
- To clean, wipe the surface with a soft cloth that has been dampened in a mix of warm water and mild detergent. Follow this process by rinsing with clean warm water then dry immediately with an absorbent, soft cloth.
- It is not advisable to allow warm water to air-dry on the surface of the product.
- To remove any stubborn stains or marks, a soft bristled brush dipped in a mix of warm water and mild detergent can be used.
- The use of harsh, abrasive cleaning materials eg wire wool is not recommended.
- Products fabricated from metal may require additional care and/or attention when used in proximity of the sea. (Please speak to our Sales Team for advice).
- The use of harsh, chemical cleaners is not recommended.
Products Fabricated from Wood
- In order to avoid wood become grey, dull or even blackened over time, maintenance is recommended which includes regular cleaning.
- To clean, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth that has been dampened in a mix of warm water and mild detergent. Follow this process by wiping with an absorbent, soft cloth dampened in warm water.
- After cleaning, it is advisable to dry the wood thoroughly to prevent the growth of mould.
- To prevent penetration of the wood, stains and/or dirt should be removed as soon as possible by following the cleaning instructions above.
- To remove stubborn dirt and/or marks, a soft bristled brush dipped in a mix of warm water and mild detergent can be used.
- The use of harsh, abrasive cleaning materials e.g. wire wool is not recommended.
- Every 12-18 months it is advisable to re-apply a suitable wood care product (e.g. oil, wax or stain) to protect and care for the wood.
Products Fabricated from Fabric
- It is advisable to clean canvas fabric (banners / awnings / umbrellas) every 6 to 12 months.
- To remove dirt, dust and debris, use a soft bristled brush dipped in a mix of warm water and mild detergent and gently scrub the fabric. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and allow to dry naturally.
- The use of harsh, abrasive cleaning materials e.g. wire wool is not recommended.
- The use of harsh, chemical cleaners is not recommended.
- It is advisable to reproof canvas fabric annually, using a suitable reproofing liquid.
PVC/PVC Mesh banners
- To clean, wipe the surface with a soft cloth that has been dampened in a mix of warm water and mild detergent. Follow this process by rinsing with clean warm water then remove any excess water with an absorbent, soft cloth.
- To remove stubborn dirt and/or stains, use a soft bristled brush dipped in a mix of warm water and mild detergent and gently scrub the area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and use an absorbent, soft cloth to remove any excess water.
- The use of harsh, abrasive cleaning materials e.g. wire wool is not recommended.
- The use of harsh, chemical cleaners is not recommended.
