Environment Policy and Impact

Brandline continues to make strides in updating its policies and methods of production to consider its ongoing impact on the environment.

Timber Usage – New Timber & Reclaimed Timber Products

The timber used to produce the Brandline Rustic Post is sourced exclusively from timber merchants that are current, active members of the FSC ® (Forest Stewardship Council ®). Our partners supply Brandline with approved timber obtained from professionally managed plantations that are members of the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and operate within certified environmental standards.

When manufacturing planters or wood café panels, our preference is to make use of reclaimed timber which began life as either scaffold or floor boards. All reclaimed timber used in production is primarily sourced from reputable reclamation sites.

Stainless Steel

During the recycling process, stainless steel does not degrade which makes it suitable for manufacturing new stainless steel and this recycled material makes up at least 60% of the content.  Stainless steel is a material that is sustained, rather than being consumed.

PVC

Brandline now offers the environmentally friendly option of a PVC-free fabric which is made from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), a highly sustainable banner material. Whilst providing the same print result  as its traditional PVC equivalent, PET is the most recyclable plastic and can be recycled repeatedly.
